Moving from their old, dated office in Kings Street we fitted out their new one in the prestigious Grade 2 listed building of 1 Finsbury circus.
Challenges here involved being in a large multi-occupancy Grade 2 listed building with a lot of high-level clients, these challenges were overcome by working closely with the facilities department; CBRE. As well as keeping noise to the absolute minimum, maintaining a very low profile and only receiving deliveries out of office hours, an example of our flexible working. To protect this award-winning structure, extra measures had to be taken including bespoke coverings which had to be put in place in order to preserve the fabric and presence of the building.
Our brief was to build an attractive professional environment, re-installing some existing full height glazed partitions which are just over 4 metres high and fitting new partitions with 3 metre tall glass, making the upmost use of the tall ceiling. This gave the 2555 sq ft space a regal feel flooded with plenty of natural light. We incorporated two new meeting rooms, a boardroom with bespoke joinery, breakout area, comms room and M&E services. The end result – an office now fit for the leaders in corporate foreign exchange.
The innovative partitioning system used on this project has only ever been installed in one other office in the UK.
