After working for Smith and Williamson before on two previous projects and having built up an extensive relationship with them, it was time to move out of their old office in Southampton and in to a new one, they asked if we could build the new and updated office.
They acquired the top two floors of Cumberland house which overlooks Isaac watts park, one of our favourite parts about this office – the balcony in which we ended up building a planter with some added lighting to the decking and then cladding the old brick work wall and planter in grey aluminium giving it a modern, cleaner overall look, perfect for staff to use in those summer months during a break.

We concealed the structural columns within the main office area between partitions and the meeting booth spaces, this incorporated recessed filing and bookshelves, saving space and creating a much more seamless, aesthetically pleasing area.
This office involved erecting lots of glass and solid partitions to create the many different rooms S&W required from a client waiting area, conference room, meeting and boardrooms, breakout area comms room, shower rooms, WC and cellular office space.
